punishments
and yet………………again
I am no deviation,
error
or mule born
model
whose earlier version danced around the same
naked fire
shared the same naked penetrations
and worshiped
the same naked goddesses
in shared daylight
of that more innocent time
that cis-males must have detested
given the vehemence,
brutality
and willingness to maim
they have expressed
since that fire went out and
we passed
slowly,
quietly
and painfully
into seclusion,
into subjugation,
into forgotten
I will not go peacefully………………..
a step further…………back and backward,
into a history of cut-off
remnants
a joke
and hate,

I have hell in my fingers
and ruination in my plans
I would rather crash the house lights

than to disappear

island sisters and brothers
from their atoll existence-

while preparing

our ancestors will study your bones
and wonder at your
choices
of spleen
and puke
and genocide
and post the addendum’s
of your belief

in their heart’s
filled with qualifying intensifiers
of how right we fucking were
to support it’s evolution
or yank it fucking down
into forgotten-
a Daliesque pantomime
of our own historical banishment;
